Dear Ms Anderen,

IKEA is using more and more timber from Eastern Europe, where large amounts of illegal logging are taking place. We are extremely concerned that IKEA is violating the Swiss wood declaration regulations and is not in control of the supply chain. This makes IKEA partly responsible for the destruction of valuable and protected forests with harmful consequences for biodiversity and climate.

We therefore call on IKEA to adopt the following measures without delay:

1. Stop sales of all IKEA products made from wood of controversial or unclear origin.
2. Complete and customer-friendly implementation of the legal requirements for wood declarations.
